In the heart of Jemez Springs, on a beautiful Saturday morning, nestled in the historical Jemez Plaza our community gathered together for the Farmers/Craft market.

Even before I lived here in this beautiful, magical place, I always enjoyed when I came to visit, especially on the mornings of the farmers market. Now I am so fortunate and lucky enough to be a part of this community and know some of the most amazing and talented people I have ever met in my life.

A farmers market is so special for everyone. It gives us a chance to get to know our neighbors, to learn about one another’s crafts and beautiful art, to see, taste and buy local and fresh produce and products. We get to experience a farm to table from someone so close to home, just around the corner or just a few miles away. For me, it’s a way to celebrate where we live and to celebrate those who make this beautiful place .. home.

If you find yourself driving towards Jemez Springs on your way to the Jemez Mountains on a beautiful Saturday morning .. make sure you stop by. You will want to come every Saturday, I promise!

Our farmers market runs every Saturday morning from 9am to 11am. Perfect timing if you are on your way to go camping, fishing or simply just taking a day trip to enjoy these beautiful mountains.
